On Saturday, Charlie and I went to go see the movie "Fireproof". First, let me say that I thought it was a great movie and that it didn't contain any profanity, nudity, etc. that the movie industry today thinks will make a good movie.
It had a little action, some comedy and yes, the mushy stuff but it does make you stop and think about how you treat your spouse and maybe another loved one. It is amazing at how people can treat the ones they say they love and talk to each other terribly. You would think if you loved someone you wouldn't talk to that person that way. But we are human and we do forget sometimes in a heated or frustrated moment on how we should act or respond. Or maybe that is the way people are use to acting and it has become the norm for them and not sure of how to change. Either way, that is when we need God and his assistance in the matter to help you deal with the situation and work it out the way he would want us to.
No matter what your faith or belief is, you can not walk away from this movie and not be changed in the way you treat your spouse or family and friends.
