Babbling Ladybug

A stream of consciousness monologues in another language

that our ears are truly enjoying!

My Daredevils!

"Our" Cohen is definitely All-Boy!
No scratch, bruise or blood is going to stop him...
So I wasn't surprised to come outside to find him, along with Daddy,
playing around on his little power wheels!!!!
~~~~
This was just one of the many stunts he was showing me on this thing.
And he was excited to perform!!!
And Daddy doesn't think he is TOO BIG for this little power wheel.
He had to perform too!
But this is what happens when BIG BOY attempted to
"POP A WHEELIE"
Tie Dye Fun
This past Saturday, my girls and I decided to do a little "tie-dying"!!!
A very MESSY craft but definitely a FUN one with friends,
especially when you throw in a little 80's music to go with...
~~~
My dear friend, Kristen, was the hostess!
She supplied the "know how", dye and rubber bands!
Myself, Crystal and Lisa attempted to get the shirts prepared...
Now for the MESSY part....
~~~
When using more than one color, you find that it is very
difficult not to mix them. Although I am sure with a few more
sessions, we could become some tie-dying "pros"! the 6 hour wait!
There should be another picture here...
One that would have you laughing...
but I didn't quit think about having my picture taking
when I was standing out in the rain holding an umbrella
in one hand and a hose in the other....
Getting soaked while trying to get all the dye out till the water was clear!
You see, I was scared to attempt rinsing them out in the sink, having the
fear of seeing my off white sink turn into a mix of colors.
After having a VERY frustrating moment, I brought them in and
finished in the sink. And all along, it would have been OK.
The sink was clear of any stains!
~~~
Well 4 out of the 5 I attempted, turned out alright!
And to show you a few, here are my adorable, little
"Tie-Dye" Models!!!

A GREAT craft for some FUN, summer play shirts!

Exersauser Fun!

It was time to introduce Ladybug to the exersaucer and I believe Big Brother was enjoying it more, unlike he did when he was a baby.

Seeing her in this, of course, brings back those memories of Cohen in it.
He was never a big fan but did enjoy the constant pushing of the button on the school bus!
With just starting off, she doesnt last too long. But hopefully we will get more use out of it with her. Apparently it is the doggie head that keeps her attention!

Holy Batman, this Mommy is Crazy!

Four months from today, our "lovable pistol" will be the Big No. 3!
Now that is VERY hard for me to believe...But I am ready.
Ready to see what changes take place in my little man
because the 2's have been very TESTY! AND along with him turning that Big No. 3,
that means there is a PARTY to plan!
and YES, this crazy Mommy has already started planning!

I am quickly learning that my child's interest changes.
A few months back, he was into Buzz Lightyear and Woody!
So of course the party ideas were like a tornado in my brain.

WELL......

It changed and now, it is all about the super heroes.
So all those great Buzz Lightyear ideas
went out the window and Mommy made the choice to change.
~~~
Announcing
Cohen's Birthday Theme for the Big No. 3
is.....
Na, na, na na na na na na na na na na, BATMAN!!!
Apparently since this Mommy doesn't (well more like wont) do "simple", I have been browsing online for ideas on everything from homemade invitations to an awesome birthday cake! Once I get an idea, I don't stop till its finalized. It almost becomes an obsession. Sad, I know. But I do love planning and preparing. And if it allows me to do crafts, I am ALL for that!!!
I am attempting to turn our garage into "Gotham City" (hoping that turns out like I visioned it)... Super Hero capes for the little ones... Fun games for both kiddos and adults... The Mr. Freeze dance..... And possibly a "Joker" chase.
Should be FUN and I have FOUR months to plan!!!!
(and I will not admit that in the back of this Batman consumed brain of mine, that at the same time, there is not already ideas for a first birthday party that will be coming up in 8 months~~~Just pathetic, I know!)
I could probably write a lot about all the things that has happened or went on the past month but I figured it might be better to just sum it up with a few of my Favs and Not-so-Favs.
