7 snuck up on me

I was at one of my favorite stores, Hobby Lobby of course, and the dear cashier offered to help me carry the five straw wreaths that I was purchasing (you will find out at a later date on why I had 5 straw wreaths - stay tuned cause it is very cute) because I had my hands full with Ladybug asleep in her carrier. Such a sweet gal she was! Anyhoo, as we were walking out, she complimented my adorable baby girl and asked how old. "I said 6 months, no I mean 7 months". I don't even know where month 6 went and now we are at 7. Do what? It flew by way too fast and just means we are that much closer to the first birthday. Yikes! I am trying my darnedest to not rush this little lady but I guess there is no stopping.

Ladybug continues to be a great baby. She goes to bed between 7:30 and 8:00, sleeps till 7:00 and wakes up a happy baby (except tonight as I am typing this, she is awake - WIDE awake for some reason. I think it might be mommie's fault with the whole trip to Hobby Lobby and all)! She is starting to enjoy her veggies and fruits but still prefers the bottle. She grabs anything and everything in reach. When she is done playing with a toy, don't try giving it back to her because when she is done - she is done and will let you know!

Still no hair but look at those two teeth that are coming in!!! I love to see those little whities when she smiles.

Has finally conquered sitting up on her own!

Ladybug has such an adorable laugh and loves to be tickled! She does this little scream when she gets excited that is too cute!

I look at this face and just smile thanking God for such a sweet blessing He has given us. A blessing and joy she definitely is!

While vacationing last week, we decided to take Miss Ladybug's 6 month photo shoot at the beach!!! Once again, Lindsay was terrific and captured some sweet photos which includes some family ones too!!!

One Month and counting....

TILL WE GET TO CELEBRATE CO-MAN'S 3RD BIRTHDAY!

AND I AM ON A MISSION AND SUPER EXCITED TO FINALLY PUT TOGETHER ALL MY FUN "BATTY" PROJECTS!!!

Stay tuned to see what these little bats will be used for. It will take a pair of scissors and a lot of patience from my hands but it is CUTE (at least I think so) !!!!

There are 3 known facts that came from our vacation:

1 ~ No tan for this mommie!

2 ~ Yummy Food all week!

3 ~ There were not tons of pictures taken!

A Splish Splashing good time!

When you combine a pool, food and friends, you most definitely will have a great time!

This past Saturday, we invited our closest friends, along with the kiddos, over to have a little splish splashing fun. And a fun time we had!!!

(A special message for Jason: I apologize that you didn't make it in any of the pictures, although you can be partially seen in the above picture, not sure how that happened but I will make sure you are included next time)

I tell ya, it is GREAT having a pool, but it is even BETTER when you have family and friends to share it with!

Choo Choo, Tritt is Two!

The weekend started off with a fun-filled celebration for my girlfriend's sweet little Boy, Tritt! The house was filled with Crystal and Jason's family and close friends. It was a hot dog, cake and ice cream kind of party and it was yummy!!!

Everyone gathered to watch Mr. Tritt open his gifts. Apparently it was the bubble-making push lawnmower that grabbed his attention and held it for the rest of the night. He absolutely loved that thing!

We all headed outside and enjoyed the kids (and some adults) run and play. They played ball, chased each other, and clobbered Mr. Jason a few times. All the while, Mr. Tritt was just happy as could be pushing his lawnmower around!!!

But I am ready to see "it" AGAIN!!!!

Let me start by saying that I had GREAT birthday! I don't feel any older and I definitely didn't feel my age yesterday with all the excitement that was leading up to the fun evening I had. I was close to feeling 12 again when I went to see "New Kids on the Block" back in 1990 (yes, I was a huge fan way back then)....

First, I was treated to a yummy lunch at PF Changs by my wonderful parents which I was also surprised by two more guests, the Hubby and Co-Man!

After having a hard time trying to concentrate on work, 5 o'clock finally arrived and it was time to meet up at Ruby Tuesdays with the Girls!

We enjoyed some cocktails, appetizers and great chit-chat!!! With tickets in hand and prepared to stand in a line, we headed on over to the theater an hour early.

....

The anticipation of this movie was killing me. I mean, obviously you can tell I am a fan of this whole Twilight Saga thing and I wont deny it. However, Eclipse was my favorite of the series and I was so looking forward to seeing it played out on the big screen. And it was definitely the BEST so far!!! I absolutely LOVED it. It had humor, lots of action, of course the love story and let's not forget Rob Pattinson!!! Though I do enjoy ALL the characters, I am TEAM EDWARD all the way. There were definitely parts from the book I wished had been in it but I was NOT disappointed at all. It even put me in the mood to re-read the book for the 3rd time. And not to mention the anticipation of Breaking Dawn Part 1 that is to be released November 2011. Excited that we have 2 more movies to see but not thrilled of how long we have to wait. I guess I can hope that will change once production gets started.

So my birthday was BLAST and thanks to all the Girls for coming out to celebrate it with me. And if anyone is up for seeing it again, well you know who to call!!!!
