September is flying...

I cant believe this month will be winding up soon and we are getting closer to the holidays! September has been a pretty good, well more like an AWESOME month for the Gibsons (stay tuned to that post).... But I am really looking forward to the upcoming holidays and another Gibson's first birthday to celebrate!!! So far, we have had something every weekend and it appears this will be the case at least until November. LOVE IT!

We spent Labor Day filled with warm weather, fun chaos and a purchase of already bagged apples. It was a last minute decision but we joined some great friends in on the fun apple picking at Sky Top. Most of our apples picked by no other than Co-Man, didn't look like an apple we would want to eat! So we mistakenly lost our basket and purchased a bag. It was all fun and Co-Man was ok with that. It was good times even though we had to deal with a very testy 3 year old! Would you believe that they have "time out" at an apple farm too?!?!?! Sure do wish I had the "group" picture - Kristen! wink wink!

Co-Man and I had a double date with my friend, Crystal and her son Tritt at Chuckie Cheese. Though they don't have a lot of things for 2 and 3 year olds, Co-Man loves that place. We did a lot of chasing around and luckily the crowd didn't pick up till about the time we were leaving. After all the playing and enjoying some pizza, it was time for some naps. Not sure who needed the most, the boys or us mommies!!!

Usually once a month, four of us couples get together for a couple's night out. Normally, we just gather at one of our houses and hang out. Though we all love our kids dearly, it is nice to just have some "adult" time. With busy schedules, this month didn't work out for all of us. So us gals decided we just couldn't miss out on getting together and given that we had a great excuse ~ Crystal's Birthday, we all met up after work last week! We enjoyed some yummy "On the Border" food and fun conversation! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CRYSTAL! Loved getting to share it with you!!!

This past weekend, we headed over to our dear friends, The Chandlers, for some pizza and play time!!! After playing around in the house, Co-man asked if he could go play outside at Alli & Reese's park (aka swing set)!!! Besides a few setbacks in the 3 year old's attitude department, they seemed to enjoy themselves. And the adults did too! That Mr. B cracks me up all the time.

It's always a blast hanging out with them and I love getting to see the kids play.

The month has gone pretty good and fun, if you ask me, and we still have a little more to go. We have 2 big celebrations coming up, Mine and Charlie's 5th Anniversary (YEA!) and Grandma's Birthday!!!
