Three Mommies and One to Be!

"Every Mommie needs to get away sometime and that is exactly what my besties and I did this past weekend!" Thanks to Crystal, who is married to Jason, whose parents have a cozy little place in Gatlinburg, was gracious to let us gals enjoy it for the weekend.

We had been looking forward to this get away for sometime now and could not wait to get on the road Friday after work. After a quick bite and quick stop to K-Mart, we were on our way!!! Even the drive there was fun, nothing like some great girly chit-chat. We settled in and enjoyed some more girl talk before we called it a night.

One thing that was definitely on our minds was the thought of enjoying a yummy breakfast. Yes this mommie had it all! French Toast, eggs, bacon and biscuits & gravy. Yum-Yum!

We headed to the streets of Gatlinburg. Did a little shopping and tons of walking, which by the way worked up an appetite. So we made our way over to Bubba Gump's.

Gotta love "people watching" in Gatlinburg!

Feeling a little yucky from the very warm day, we had planned on enjoying a little pool time but we opted for a shower instead. Would you believe that we were in our pj's and relaxing on the couch by 6 o'clock? And, we stayed there and watched Lifetime movies until 11 o'clock. IT WAS GREAT!!! I cant remember the last time this mommie got to do something like that.

The next morning came too quick and it was time to pack up. But before heading home, we made a stop in Pigeon Forge where we enjoyed breakfast at the Apple Barn and a little shopping at the outlets.

I am so grateful for these ladies and the wonderful friendships God has blessed me with!!!
