Yippee for the weekend!

And my hubby is home from Charleston. So glad that he is home. We missed him terribly. And what makes it even better, is that he does not have to work this weekend. Yippee!

No big plans. Try to get the house cleaned, church on Sunday and hope to attend the Church's block party Sunday night.

So I hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoy this short amount of time before we have to go back to work.

Stay safe and God Bless!

Love, T

LITTLE BUDDIES

It is so cute to see little ones play together
and try figure each other out.
Yesterday, GG and Cohen joined one of her best friends,
Janet and her grandson, Gray at McDonalds for a playdate.
There is only a five week difference in their age
and these two little boys are just adorable.

I am glad Cohen has a little buddy and hope
they can get together for more playdates.......

Cohen's First Little Pumpkin

To start October 1st off, Cohen and I started decorating the house with fun Halloween items. As I would place one, he would try to get it but was only successful with the smaller items which he would find another place for them. I think some made it under furniture. He seems to like pumpkins and scarecrows.
Today at work, one of our clients, Marilyn, brought in a big pumpkin for the firm but she also sent a little pumpkin with stickers to give to Cohen. That was so sweet of her to think of him, so Thanks Marilyn, Cohen really liked it.
With mommy's help, we placed some stickers on the pumpkin. I can't wait until Cohen can learn to carve out a pumpkin, which is something I do every year. Last year, I carved out Baby's First Halloween so I am not sure what I will do this year but can't wait.

A Teary Moment for a Mommy....

Every night, after taking a bath, putting on PJs and reading some books, we say a little prayer before we rock to sleep. I have always put Cohen's little hands together. Monday night, as we were getting ready to rock, Cohen was facing me and I said "Cohen we about forgot to say our prayer". At that moment, as I watched my 13 month old bring his hands together on his own, my eyes teared up. Where was the camera? That just goes to show that even a young child knows and watches everything we as parents do. Got to love those special moments, one that a mommy will NEVER FORGET!

SIMON SAYS.....

Touch your Nose.

Touch your Ears.

Not to put food in your hair.

It is very exciting to see your child learn things everyday. So when I joined my in-loves for dinner last night, GG showed me that Cohen has learned to touch his nose, ears and even his mouth. Never could get a picture of that but as you can see, he has no problem showing us where his mouth is. I am sure you all may know that a child learning to eat on their own is not done in a cleanly manner but a real messy one. A funny thing that Cohen does while he eats (sometimes) is place his hands on his head and pull what little hair he has. So you can assume what he may look like after all is said done. So last night, he was sporting banana and mashed potatoes.

My Ever Loving In-Loves!

Every Tuesday night, we join my in-loves for a wonderful prepared dinner by my mother-in-love. So last night, being the ever so thoughtful lady she is, she fixed one of my favorite meals, Spaghetti, a meal that Charlie does not like, since he was out of town. I am so blessed to have such wonderful in-loves and have the kind of relationship that we have. Just like my parents, they will do anything for us and we are so blessed to have the kind of parents we have.

So GG, thanks for the wonderful spaghetti last night and I am looking forward to the left overs today.....Love you both......
